Located in the serene settings of Amwaj Islands, Bahrain, our brand has a 25-year old legacy attributed to our Founder, Elizabeth Kumar, or Lizze, as she is affectionately known by clients and friends.

Lizze holds a Sassoon Diploma from the globally acclaimed Vidal Sassoon in London and qualified as a hair professional in 1997. She has established and operated multiple salons and spas in Mumbai, Pune and Goa including at the JW Marriott (Mumbai), Hyatt Regency (Mumbai), Sheraton Grand (Pune) and E-Square (Pune) under the aegis of Lizze’s Hairdressers and Beauticians and Lizze’s Aspen Spa.

Our team comprises hairdressers, beauticians and spa therapists, handpicked by Lizze, to ensure a superlative, rejuvenating experience.

The name is an ode to the medicinal Aspen tree, which is traditionally used to make medicine to reduce inflammation. Additionally, the Greek name of the same tree, ‘Aspis’ translates to shield, which was incidentally also among its many uses.
